Silk Hope - Pirate Style a la Sona

The Soňa-style pirate look covers the crown and leaves long points falling freely at the nape. The scarf is tied over the shorter middle point.

What you will need

• a 90 × 90 cm square silk scarf
• a mirror
• Time: about 3 minutes

Step-by-step instructions

1. Fold the scarf. Fold the scarf diagonally into a triangle.

   

2. Place it over your head. Position the centre of the long edge above your forehead and spread the triangle over the crown. Leave the shorter middle point directed towards the nape.

   

   

   

3. Take the side points back. Bring the two long points beside your ears towards the nape and smooth the scarf around your head.

   

4. Tie a double knot. Cross the long points over the shorter middle point and join them at the nape with a double knot.

   

   

   

5. Finish the pirate look. Leave the middle point falling beneath the knot and arrange the two long points to the sides. Smooth the edge above your forehead.

   

   

   

   

   

Tip

Tie the knot directly beneath the nape. If it sits too high, the scarf will move forward as you wear it.
