How it all began
"Why are most women afraid of colors?"
This question has haunted me for years. As a professional photographer and image consultant, I have seen many women who dress in inappropriate colors, or who play it safe and wear only basic or neutral colors. Not knowing your own typology is like cooking without flavors, without spices, without ideas. Yes, you can eat it, but does it taste good? :-) ...
I have seen how the wrong color can add 10 years. I have seen how one accessory can completely transform a woman. I have seen that a silk scarf is not just a piece of fabric - it is a tool for self-expression.
But there was nothing on the Slovak market that met my criteria:
- Quality silk (not polyester)
- Color by typology (not random colors)
- Original design (not copies from Instagram)
- Fair price (not overpriced brands)
So in 2017 I created the brand One by One Design. Not as a business. As a mission.

Personal story of the founder
Jana Keketi
"I've been searching for beauty my whole life. First in front of the lens as a model, then behind it as a professional photographer."
After graduating from the prestigious London Image Institute, I became the only Slovak woman with an Advanced Image Consulting certificate. I started helping women find their style.
And I discovered something fascinating: Most women don't know what colors suit them. Most women don't know how to choose the right accessory. Most women dress according to trends, not according to themselves.
A silk scarf was the answer. One accessory that could brighten the skin, highlight the eyes, add elegance and express personality.
But there wasn't a scarf on the market that met my criteria. So I created it. Today, over 2,000 women wear One by One. Each one is unique. Each one is unrepeatable. Exactly as it should be.

How your scarf is made

Design & Inspiration
Graphic designer creates designs and original patterns based on Jana Keketi's ideas. Inspiration comes from nature, art, architecture. No copies. Only unique items.

Color selection
Jana Keketi precisely selects color tones according to color typology (spring, summer, autumn, winter). Each color is tuned to brighten your skin and highlight your eyes.

Silk selection
We carefully selected a supplier with a certified factory in China, the cradle of silk, to bring you the highest quality. We use only 100% Mulberry silk grade 6A - the highest quality in the world.

Print & Check
The design is printed on both sides using natural dyes. Each scarf goes through a 3-step quality control. If something doesn't fit, the scarf won't be released.

Hand hemming
The hems are hand-sewn – a sign of true quality. This process takes 2 hours per scarf. But the result is worth it.

Delivery
The scarf is wrapped in a luxurious gift box and shipped directly to you. You unwrap art. You wear elegance.

Why do we manufacture in China?
Silk is a Chinese invention
5000 years ago, Empress Lei Zu discovered silk in China. Since then, China has held the secret of the highest quality silk weaving. Producing silk outside of China is like producing wine outside of France.
Not all China is the same
Cheap scarves from Aliexpress? Yes, from China. Hermès scarves for €500? Also from China. The difference? The choice of manufacturer. We only work with the top 3% of certified manufacturers.
Quality certificates
Our manufacturers have OEKO-TEX Standard 100 (no toxic substances), BSCI, INTERTEK, and SEDEX, SGS, ISO certificates and produce for premium global brands.
3-step control
Each scarf is checked three times: before printing, after printing, before shipping. If something doesn't fit, the scarf doesn't go out. Period.
Fair price
If we made it in Italy, this scarf would cost €350+. Not because of the quality. Because of the "Made in Italy" label. We give you the same quality for €160.
